Teryl Rothery is a Canadian actress of television, stage, and film. Janet Fraiser, her role in Stargate SG-1 is what she is most well-known for. She co-starred with Grace Sherman in Cedar Cove, and has had major roles in the past as Muriel in Virgin River, Jean Loring in Arrow and Celia Hudson in Nancy Drew. She has appeared in several television films. Rothery began her dancing lessons when she was nine years older. In 1995, Rothery considered that this was the start of her career as an entertainment professional. Her first professional outings as a performer were the musical Bye Bye Birdie at age 13[3] and also in the Marpole Community Theatre's production of The Sound of Music at age 14. As a young person she performed dance in The Irish Rovers variety television series. At age 18 she was the first to appear on the television screen with a Canadian Broadcasting Corporation television special for Halloween.
